We can understand your concern but could you please confirm whether you are using AVG app for S5 mobile and trying to disable notification alerts using the app or you are referring to the general settings of the mobile to disable the notifications?

How do I disable the notification alerts on my S5? I have disabled all the ones I can find in the settings but I keep getting the audio notification alerts. I like the alerts just not with sound
