More then 3 years later, the issue still exists. I also actually have this problem: I cannot empty the shopping cart in the AVG Internet Security software.
Earlier this year I placed an order for AVG antivirus, because I wasn't sure if my subscription (which will require renewing later this year) would renew on its own. So I placed a new order for it, thinking that if I had an ongoing subscription that your customer database recognized, it would prevent me from placing another order, so I could use this to test if my subscription itself was still in place. However it didn't prevent me from placing the order, but later I found out I did have an active subscription that would renew. So to cancel the shopping cart's contents, I closed the AVG window (I had added it to the shopping cart in the AVG user interface itself, not my web browser). However, just today, I got a reminder that I still have items in my shopping cart. There is NO BUTTON that says "empty shopping cart" in the AVG user interface, so I don't know how to empty the shopping cart. One thing I absolutely DO NOT want to do, is complete the shopping cart purchase, or I will have TWO subscriptions. I don't need 2 AVG Antivirus subscriptions. Any AVG employees here, please help me to empty my shopping cart. I've included this screenshot of the AVG user interface shopping cart to show you where I am at, that I am trying to cancel the shopping cart.
@Midhun why is there not a simple "cancel" button or "empty cart" button on that screen (the one I showed in the screenshot)? That would make it a VERY SIMPLE process remove from the cart anything you didn't want.
