How do I Force Scheduled Scans While On Battery Power?

As per the latest version of AVG Internet Security/AVG Antivirus free design, the schedule scan should start though the laptop is in battery mode.
There is no specific option on the program to enable the scan during the battery mode.
If the schedule scan is not happening in the battery mode, do let us know.
Whenever your computer is turned off or when it is in sleep mode at the time schedule scan, then the scan should start automatically when it is turned on.
Have you checked whether this is happening when the instance of schedule scan is missed?

I have a daily scan set up to run at 5pm every day.  I would like it to run even when my laptop is in battery mode.  I found some instructions online but when following them I do not see the Menu items currently in the program.  Is there a way to configure this?  Where do I find it?  Is there an option to scan at the next start up if the PC is off during the schedule scan?
