How do I get rid of application pop-ups?

I just purchased and installed AVG internet security 2015 and keep getting application pop-ups that ask me to either canel or save the app to my desktop. I've done a full scan, rootkit scan and malware scan using malwarebytes in safe mode.

Example app: setup.exe from getdown1012.com

How can I stop these app pop-ups?
