How do I get rid of "cryzip" virus and how did it get past AVG Internet Security?

When I had a chat with AVG Service I got the following e-mail, but the"Virus Removal Tool" runs for hours and when it is finished, it will not open to save the file or view any infections. It also appears I cannot copy & paste the response. When I tried to reply to the e-mail with the difficulty, the e-mail got returned undeliverable.
