How do i install AVG without an internet connection

This is typical of money grabbing corporate greed.
Hi Rick,

We are sorry for the delay in response.
Please contact us from your own post and elaborate your query for AVG to assist further.

Today i have just managed to get the laptop to connect to my network. I am now installing AVG ultimate but it is hanging at 78% which is what hapened before. If you click on the AVG taskbar icon AVG internet security opens and seems to be installed ok but if you click on the back tab to ZEN you get the following.

Nick,
We do understand how difficult this is for you, we apologize. Do not worry, we will do our best to resolve this issue. We are sorry to inform you that we do not have offline installation for AVG Ultimate and it is not possible to install AVG Ultimate without internet connection. We  request you to follow the below steps to reinstall your AVG network filter to get this internet issue fixed.

-Disable AVG Self Protection (http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG) if AVG is already installed.
- Go to Control Panel -> Network Connections -> right click on the network area which is active -> "Properties"
- If there is "AVG Network filter driver" uninstall it and restart the computer twice
- AVG Firewall initializes auto-repair function so "AVG Network filter driver" should be automatically installed (therefore two restarts are needed)

I have AVG ultimate but a resent AVG update has left my laptop unable to connect to my network or the internet. How can I retry to install AVG without an internet connection? (AVG-remover doesn't work.)

Hello Nick,
In that case please try to reboot your PC in safe mode and check whether you get connected to the Internet. Please follow the instructions on the article http://avgclick.me/rebootintosafemode to reboot your PC in safe mode.
Thank you.

IT IS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY INTERNET SERVICE SUPPLIER. My internet is fine and so is the computer. If I use another hard drive in the computer it connects fine. Dont talk such utter  rubbish.

Its not the internet or the network ist your failed update!!

Hello Nick,
We do understand your concern. Since you couldn't reinstall the Network driver Filter we have requested to contact your Internet Service provider where they can analyze the issue for you.

- If there isn't "AVG Network filter driver" click "Install " -> "Service" -> "Have Disk" -> "Browse" and look for
c:\Program Files\AVG\AV\Drivers\avgfwfd.inf
- Click "Open" button and follow the prompts
- Restart the computer twice
- Enable AVG Self Protection back.
If the issue persist please let us know, we are here to help you. Thank you.

Nick,
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. In this case, we request you to contact local technician to fix the network issue and then install your AVG program from our official website: http://www.avg.com/us-en/download. If yes, we would like to clarify that it has been discontinued.
