I have added the MyPC Backup executables to the exeception list but AVG still removes them. Does AVG hav this issue with ZipCLoud or Carbonite?
I did follow the instructions, so I restarted the system and it appears to work now. MyPC Backup now runs but it isn’t backing up anything. Just runs thru the files and reports zero bytes backed up. Since it hasn’t worked for a couple of months that isn’t possible. I checked my software settings and will contact MyPC Backup support.
However, even though their software seems to be working now with AVG, I don’t understand why exceptions should be entered. The two applications worked together for about 18 months prior and if there is a known issue I would think that AVG could implement a more permanent solution without manual updating required.
