Sorry to hear that. Please be informed that we are working on major update to find and implement best option for AVG Marketing popups. This process will take time but we assure you that it will be done as soon as possible.
However, you can try changing the duration for AVG popups from the settings. This will only limit the duration of campaign popups appearance.
Open AVG interface, click on Menu–>Settings.
On General window, right side you can find Popups, please click on arrow next to it.
It will show you the option to setup duration for all popups.
Please setup duration "0" for information popups alone.

If you are interested to secure your passwords saved while browsing then you can purchase this product, if not you can ignore the popup.

I am a paying customer and I can't get rid of all your popup ads for other products you wish to sell me. Specifically, I get the "Everybody can see you" ad EVERY single time I open my computer - on every device I use.
How do I remove that?
Mathias, popups can be either campaign or expiry popup message. Can you please share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of the popup message to check and assist you further. Do also let me know what AVG program you have installed on your computer?

We understand that you don't wish to get campaign popups for your paid product.
It is really unfortunate that we do not have the option to stop campaign pop ups with in current version.
However, we have already forwarded this concern to product management team.
We assure you that necessary changes will be implemented in upcoming updates.
Your patience and cooperation is much appreciated in this matter.
I can inform you that I already have set Information popups to 0 seconds before I asked, so that is not an option.
Ok. Now I got an ad that said my password were unsafe and that I must buy your password protection.
I am running the latest version.
This is it. I am uninstalling your software. Your software is terrible. I can't believe I paid a lot of money only to be bothered all the time.

Let me say this very clear, since you are obviously not gettting it.
I don't want ads in my paid subscription.
I don't want to know more about your other products popping up while I am trying to work.
I have now uninstalled AVG for good. Complete waste of money.
