How do i remove avg protection

Hello Vincent,
I'm sorry to hear that you're receiving error message while uninstalling AVG from control panel(program and features). May I know if you have received any error message while running AVG Remover tool (http://download.avg.com/filedir/util/AVG_Remover.exe), let us know which AVG program you want to uninstall, what version (2016/2017) of AVG program you have installed on your computer, also why you want to uninstall AVG program. I do not know what version I have, it merely says "AVG Protection" on my "programs and features".
When I try to use the removal tool it tells me that it cannot detect any AVG product. I have run the removal tool in hopes that it will remove what is on my computer but it has not, the removal tool is a 2015 version. However, I receive periodic messages saying there is an error with AVG at "avguix.exe" 


My reason for wanting to uninstall AVG is not relevant I just want it off of my computer.

I have attempted to remove AVG protection  using the Program and Features function on my computer. It does not work I get error message 0xe001002.  I have tried using the AVG removal tool and it does not work either.  What can I do to remove this product from my computer?  I am not a tech type and have only very basic skills so please make your answer very simple.

In this case, I request you to run AVG clear tool (https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe), click no (if it's ask to restart your computer in safe mode), please check the AVG zen box and click remove. Please reboot your computer once (when AVG clear tool will ask for a computer reboot). Feel free to contact us again if you need any further assistance.
