How do I remove or disable the icon in the task bar?

Hello Sara,

If you have AVG program installed, you will get the popups and alerts which you can see on the system tray of your computer.
Could you provide the screenshot of the popups that you receive from AVG?

I want to remove the AVG icon from the task bar. It doing pop ups and I don't want to see the pop ups or the icon in my task bar. I say task bar but I'm not sure if that's what it's called. It's where your volume, wireless and such would be.

So can someone please tell me how to remove this so I don't see it anymore?
