  1. How do I share extra licenses with my family?   I sent them my Registration Key, but is says there is an error when they try to activate it.  
    2) Do my family members have to first create their own AVG account, or do they have to use my log-in and PW in order to activate their devices under my 10 licenses?

Thank you for contacting AVG Community Support. 
The Family Sharing feature in your AVG Account allows you to share your AVG subscriptions with up to 5 other people.

Family Sharing is currently only available for the following subscriptions and devices:

  • AVG Internet Security (Multi-Device): Family Sharing is available on Windows only.
  • AVG TuneUp (Multi-Device): Family Sharing is available on Windows only.
As you have AVG Ultimate, we do not have family sharing option in it. We plan to allow Family Sharing for more AVG subscriptions in the future.
