How do I stop the avg uninstaller from running at every boot?

We regret any inconvenience caused.
Did you use AVG Clear tool to uninstall AVG completely? Please boot your PC by selecting Windows 10 and remove any traces of AVG Clear or AVG app from C drive. If the issue persists, follow the steps below:

Press Windows key + R, this will open Run dialog.
Type in "msconfig" (without quotes) and click OK button.
In the System Configuration window, switch to Boot tab.
Uncheck AVG Clear from the boot menu.

I uninstalled AVG from my wifes laptop because it degraded the performance to a great degree. Now every time I boot her computer, it brings up a screen that asks if I want to boot into the uninstaller, or into windows 10. How can I stop this from happening, and just boot into windows 10 as it should be?
