I have done this probably 30 times and each time the pc turns back on Avg switches it back to economy mode this is making things very difficult for me. I will recommend this product to no one.
Hi, I'm visually impaired and this product which I spent money one keeps turning my computer on Economy Mode which makes the screen so dark that I cannot read it and this is making my computer unusable because I can't figure out how to shut it off permenatly and have to constantly ask someone to turn it off for me back to Standard mode. Sales support told me there was a chat option for this and I cannot find it. I am not happy with this product now.
Economy mode is more frustration than help on my computer. If I turn on my laptop when it is unplugged, economy mode will begin to go into effect. Even if I then plug the laptop in 10 seconds later, I must still watch economy mode continue to go into effect, usually taking two or three minutes, slowing down my other computer processes. Despite being plugged in, economy mode continues to dominate the laptop's operation.
I don't want a way to modify economy mode's settings. I want to disable economy mode altogether. Is this possible? If not, it should be.
I hate economy mode, it needs to be easily disabled and stay off.
clicking settings to turn it off just throws a paywall popup at me telling me settings are disabled.
if there is no way to prevent it messing ith my power settings without paying…that doesn't make me want to buy avg it makes me want to uninstall it
