How do I uninstall program and remove it from my firewall?

I need to uninstall the avg program from my computer and firewall, started out with free program, upgraded to full security, changed mind before trial was finished (scan wouldn't run) and now it won't open, can't uninstall OR remove it from my firewall!! Help!
