I tried your suggestion to ignore the builtin Windows Defender and thereby successfully installed the AVG Ultimate. The builtin antivirus automatically disabled itself.

I understand that you want help in uninstalling inbuilt antivirus on Windows 10.

If you are referring to Windows defender, then this application cannot be uninstalled.

You can go ahead and install AVG, once you complete the installation of AVG, Windows defender will automatically gets disabled on your computer.
