Hi Rick,

We understand your concern. We will definitely help you with that. Please Goto Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Select the AVG Program and then click on Change to Repair them.

Thank you.

I am in the same boat as Rick.  For about 15 minutes, every time I boot up, the disk resource is at %100 and the tasks consuming it (according to Task Manager) are 90% AVG tasks.  I understand that there may be some "am I current" activity going on, but each time I boot up, even if I am just restarting, I go through the same dance.  Then, after about 10-15 minutes of doing nothing but watching Task Mgr, it drops to 0-1% disk activity and I can go on about my business.  Why so much fan dancing and flag waving?

How do I repair? I didn't see that function on any of the menus.
