How do you unsubscribe from an expired subscription?

We've cancelled the subscription (automatic renewal) of them & an email confirming the same has been sent to you.

My subscriptions have expired, but I still get emails and notifications from my bank saying that a charge was attempted and declined. I went to unsubscribe, but the "unsubscribe" button is replaced with "renew". So how can I cancel my paid subscriptions? I think I originally enrolled in auto-renew but the card I used has expired since then.
