I’m curious about how AVG determines whether a website should be blocked or flagged as suspicious.
If a website is newly created and doesn’t have much traffic or reputation data yet, can AVG sometimes flag it based on things like scripts, redirects, hosting, or other technical signals?
Also, if a legitimate website is incorrectly detected, does its reputation normally update automatically after the issue is reported, or does the website owner need to submit a false-positive report?
I’d be interested to hear how this works from anyone who has dealt with website detection or false positives in AVG.
