Thanks so much, Alan and Jan.
Can it be installed via one browser and affect another browser? Eg… I haven't used IE in ages. But needed it to recently update skype. It was around that time that these issues started up. Other than that I haven't downloaded anything or run into anything suspicous.
Hi Mandy,
Did you checked browser addons and installed programs?
Thanks
Thanks Mandy for your input.
Has superantispyware worked for you?

I followed the instructions here, which I'd already performed beforehand, but carried them out out again. And it didn't make any difference.
So I purchased SuperAntiSpyware and have used that to clean up the issue. I purchased it earlier today and so far there hasn't been any more popups so fingers crossed.
Filip, I'm not sure if you've sorted it out yet, but if you're still watching this post, then I'll post back in here in a couple of days time and let you know if http://www.superantispyware.com/ worked.
That's a terrible response from AVG.
Isn't there a fix for this? It seems AVG doesn't protect my computer or Filip's computer either, by the looks of it, from this issue.
I haven't downloaded anything, or made any changes to my computer. And I'm very computer savvy. Just out of the blue a couple of days ago, my Chrome Browser started to open up a new window on it's own while Chrome is open - and when Chrome is closed too - with Casino ad websites etc.
I went into the local storage and deleted the "files" with Casino in them. But other than that, I haven't been able to find a solution yet.

I've run several AVG scans (I use the paid version) and it hasn't picked this issue up.
Hi filip,
I reccomend uninstall all unused/unknown software and remove all unused/unknown browser addons.
Thanks
