I enrolled for the free trial fully understanding that after the free trial I could cancel my account and would not be charged anything. The day I registered for the free trial I was charged $50 for the AVG tuneup. I immediately put in a claim canceled my account and asked for a refund. About 15 emails have been going back-and-forth with customer service. First they tell me they have no record of me having an account with them. Which is ridiculous because on my emails shows my account number because they emailed me. Then they said that they could not give me a refund back because my credit card would not allow it Finally they asked me to take a picture of my credit card stating that they would allow the refund. I submitted that and now they said they’re going to escalate me to a different claims department. During COVID-19 it’s very difficult to get through to customer service. They are taking advantage of this pandemic and scamming people
