How stop an AVG product

Hi Roland,

We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, please let us know the browser in which you experience this issue & clarify whether this happens in a specific or irrespective of browsers.

Also, let us know whether you're connected to internet through AVG Secure VPN. Meanwhile, you can try disabling AVG protection temporarily to check.

I've problems to access my (URL redacted) account. When I try to login then they report "unusual browser behaveing". How can I stop e.g. Internet Security or other AVG products and then restart after trying to connect to godaddy?

Well thanks a lot. I admit, that I have overseen this possibility (although I already had 2 domains enabled, but already long time ago…). Godaddy now in the allowed websites list does the job. Sorry that I didn't find out this on my own!

Thank you for updating the status, Roland.

We're sorry to hear that AVG AntiTrack is causing this issue.
Please enable the Anti-Tracking component of your AVG AntiTrack program, add the godaddy website to AVG AntiTrack - Allowed websites list & check if the issue persists.
Refer to this article for detailed instructions to add Godaddy website to the AVG AntiTrack - Allowed websites list.
Keep us updated.

Hi

This was on every browser on my machine. By googling I found out, that my idea of stopping AVG services was a good one. All services except AntiTrack didn’t produce this error on godaddy.com. So I found out that I can stop AntiTrack and this was the solution to my problem. You should note this and tell your users if they come up with that question! There were so many people bothered by this behaviour (I think it’s not only AVG software but also other security software behaving in the same way as AntiTrack).

Regards, Roland
