How temporary suspend the operation of avg free

I have win 7 and i need to install  a program that requires the temporary suspension of the antivirus and the temporary deactivation of the firewall. How is it possible to temporarily suspend Avg Free? Thank you

To disable AVG temporarily, please right click on the AVG icon present at the bottom right corner of your desktop(System Tray) and click on scroll bar to "Disable Protection".
