Hi,
On False Positive File Form , (https://www.avg.com/submit-sample" title="https://www.avg.com/submit-sample) it displays as below for Software Vendors.
In case you are a software vendor and you want to prevent your software from being falsely detected, please apply for the “Whitelisting service account” by choosing "Application Whitelisting" item from the form below.
We are the Software Vendors, who would like to apply for Whitelisting service account. Please confirm
the details about it like 1.Is this service Chargeable? 2.If Yes,then what is its quotation.
Gaurav,
I would suggest you send the file via FTP server. Please save the exe file in a folder and compress it. Then rename the file you wish to upload so that it contains either the AVG# number assigned to you or your email address.
- Open this link in Windows Explorer (via Start -> My Computer or using Windows + E hotkey): ftp://ftp.avg.com/incoming/
- If you are asked for a user name and password, please fill in:
- User name: anonymous
- Password: your email address
- Find the files you wish to upload to the server, and drag and drop them into the browser window
Hi,
Please let me know the status for my issue as my team is awaiting for the results.
Thanks,
Gaurav
Hi,
I read the email but unfortunately I cannot provide the details as our client already left us & cannot be contacted again.
Isn't there any other work around ?
I need to ask 2 queries again.
1.We have shared generic build named as Quantum but the name may change as per client's requirement. Will this affect whitelisting in AVG.
2.As mentioned earlier that our application is Eclipse RCP Based Java Application,do you have any suggestions to modify it.So, it is not deleted or considered as Virus by AVG.
Hello Gaurav,
I apologize for the inconvenience. Please submit the Eclipse application for us to analysis https://www.avg.com/submit-sample and also provide the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of the error message to assist further.
There is a default list (whitelist) for AVG Software which indicates the program is safe to run eg:- MS Office, Adobe etc BUT my software developed using eclipse Java technology gives error for my globally located clients. So, we need to add Eclipse Application in AVG Global Database Server.
Please inform me the procedure as early as possible.
