How to backup using AVG Antivirus Pro on Android 5.0.1

Hi there;
I select all apps to be backed up (129) on my Samsung S4; plenty of space available. Nevertheless, after almost an hour, there is no backup created; also, a December 31, 1969 date shows under Restore, with no apps been backed up. Weird. This also occured on my other smartphone (Samsung S3) running Kit Kat 4.4.2. Never ever before have an issue like this.

AVG Version is 4.4 with latest virus pattern loaded today.
