How to delete a threat that can't be deleted?

To find out the version of AVG, you can follow user manual, part 4.3. Menu in the task bar

I am on MacOS. I downloaded a supposed upgrade to Flash and AVG AntiVirus blocked it as a threat and could not delete it, so it quarantined the file and suggested I delete it manually, as it can only quarantine it for awhile.  I found the file, but when I drag it to Trash, the message I get is:  The file Installer cannot be moved to Trash because it cannot be deleted.  How can I get rid of it please?
