How to exclude website from scan on Mac

So recently AVG on MAC started to block my connection to itunesconnect.apple.com and to Developer page on developer.apple.com via Safari which makes me unable to work. I'd say that is the main reason to uninstall it.
Are there any plans to return "exceptions" option?

Hello Customer,

We understand that you want help in adding an website to AVG exception list.  Open the AVG AntiVirus for Mac menu in the task bar and select Preferences. From here select "Exceptions" and click on "+" symbol to add the file or website to exception list. You can also send the sample of this file to AVG http://www.avg.com/submit-sample for analysis.

Has this option been removed?

Hello,

Sorry for the delay in responding. Unfortunately, we cannot add the URL in AVG exception on MAC device. I would suggest you submit a feedback [
AVG 2025 | FREE Antivirus, VPN & TuneUp for All Your Devices] regarding this to the developers.

With the Mac version of AVG AntiVirus, does anyone know how to exclude a particular website from monitoring/ scanning/ shielding?  The instructions from AVG seem to only apply to their Windows product - my copy doesn't look like their example.

Igor, I understand your concern.

We do have an option to add these websites to AVG exception list.

Please follow the below steps to add to AVG exception.

Please add those domains in AVG Exception list and check the status.
Follow the below steps to add the files in the Exception.
Edit file /Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/config/com.avg.proxy.excl add line with exception, example * avg.com https (space between * avg.com and https needs to be done by tab. button).
After editing this file MAC needs to be restarted and check if it helps.
Hello Idar, In the latest version of AVG on MAC, the Exception option has been removed. However, feedback was noted and passed to the team.

Thanks, but I've been to that page already as well.  Either it does not apply to Mac products or not to the free version because my screen doesn't look like that.
