This issue happens when using Apple Safari 11.1.1 while surfing. Seems to kick in within two or three minutes of using the app, and even when the app is open, but not the active application. Any updated news on this?

Hello David,
It might be a false positive, we need to check with it. Could you share the screenshot http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-create-a-screenshot of that detection message with full path?
Click on "See Details" at the bottom right corner of that detection popup to view its full path.

Hello all,
I've had this message pop up from time to time, and can't figure out how I got infected or how to remove the infection. The infection is URL:Mal which seems to have come from http://instadashapp.com which is no longer online.
How do I remove this threat?
Is there a way to see the full path of the process, since it seems to be shortened?
Any help would be appreciated…
I am running macOS High Sierra 10.13.5, AVG AntiVirus for Mac 18.3 (free version)
Thanks.
David

Okay, David.
We will escalate this case to our senior team for further assistance. We will get back to you once we heard from them.
It happens while browsing… not downloading anything at the time.
Thank you for providing the screenshots David,
May I know when you're receiving the pop up? Is this while downloading something from email or while browsing?
Regards,
Alok.
