Let's check if below steps fixes the issue. Please check whether Google play store login is done with the email registered with AVG.
In our latest version, you can activate subscription using "restore purchase" option.
1. Open AVG Protection.
2. Tap upgrade
3. Tap 3 dotted icon on top-right corner
4. Select "restore purchase".
If you are unable to find this option, please reach our Android mobile support team with screenshot of error message.
Note: To capture screenshot press and hold Power & Volume down button at same time. You can also find option to take screenshot in pull down menu.
Use the following link( http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical ) select as Android in OS field, fill out your details and click email option.
AVG mobile team will reply back to you via email.
I have a sony xperia xa2 H4113 with AVG PRO and I have bought a one year subscription for anti theft so I can take photo remote from the AVG dashboard. Seems to work nice.
How ever I would like to buy the same for my sons sony xperia xa1 G3112. We use the family link app from google so I have to approve all of his downloads. But inside the AVG PRO I can choose "upgrade", but I just get an error message saying that the family administrator must add a payment option. But I already got one.
Btw I have already registered my sons G3112 so it is visible from the AVG dashboard, but the features included in subscription that I try to buy is of course not enabled.
Do you guys see any way how buy the subscription?
