How do we Register our AVG 2014 Free Edition as indicated on the GUI…?
I clicked on the 'link' but all it did was take me to the account log in screen, and after logging in said I had no 'paid' subscriptions. I get the feeling it would be pointless to even register the 'Free' edition, but the article that mentions the Summer Offer to get the upgrade for 30 days MAY* allow me to receive that option/offer again.
I did use the free 30 day trial in the very beginning (back in April 2014) but really can't Afford to pay for the yearly subscription (disabled vet, fixed-income…) so I figure That* is why I haven't received the "Summer Offer" [because I already Had one free 30-day trial].
So, the question is, if I can register the 'Free Edition' (lic# 4UWWU-WBDXC-VYFN3-QDJMH-42AOA-K) would I receive the "Summer Offer" for another 30-day free upgrade trial? …or is "registering" really just a waste of time?
