I have the same question (remove network profiles from AVG seettings - full protection - system rules : :if find there almost 800 past network profiles). The above answer does not resolve the problem.
Cheers
Hello Millicent,
I will help you with the necessary information.
The past networks and unidentified networks are displayed from your computer settings. To remove this from AVG, you need to remove the same from your network settings. Get into your wifi settings on your computer and delete all the unwanted networks. This should fix the issue.
How do I remove past network profile with red "X", and also unidentified network that is "Public"
Thank You
Hugo, we request you to delete the past/unidentified networks from your PC and repair AVG program to check the status. To do so, refer the below steps:
- Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen.
- Click Network settings.
- Click Manage Wi-Fi settings.
- Under Manage known networks, click the network you want to delete.
- Click Forget. The network profile is deleted.
Once it is deleted, please repair your program as mentioned in this article (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Repair-AVG-Antivirus).
