To stop AVG from scanning CD/DVD, we suggest you to follow these steps: Open AVG interface -> Options -> Advanced settings -> click on "Removable device scan" in the left panel -> "uncheck" the option "Enable removable disk scan". Follow these steps and please 'post' the status. Thank you.
Whenever I insert a CD/DVD into my DVD/ROM, AVG starts scanning and it takes very long. I cannot access programs on the CD/DVD until AVG is done scanning completely. Is there a way to stop AVG from scanning CD/DVD drives?
