But before restoring files from Options - Virus Vault (assuming you are certain that the detection was false), I would change settings so that AVG will not automatically delete them again. If the detection was by Resident Shield, check the setting in this screenshot. There is a similar setting for Whole Computer Scan that should be unchecked. If you're not sure, you can find out which component detected the files under Reports or Options - History. If the restored files are detected again, do not click "Protect me" but instead select other option to create an exception. Afterwards, you can change settings back to default if you wish.
