I disabled the firewall and now I can get on the internet, but I have no security protection.

I am unable to get on the internet with my laptop and I was advised by computer tech support that it was a problem with the AVG program. They were unable to get passed the AVG firewall to uninstall it. How do I uninstall it?  It is AVG Ultimate 2015.

I can't do that without the internet. I am sending these messages with my tablet.

Karen, you do not require an internet connection to disable AVG temporarily. Please open the article with steps on your tablet and follow those steps on your PC. Thank you.

Is that AVG Internet security 2015 version installed on your PC? If so, please uninstall it and re install AVG 2016. Thank you.
