How to uninstall totally from my computer

While I won't use profanity, I feel the same way as Hien and Bruce.  I've tried to uninstal through my control panel as an administrator - Nothing happens.  I've tried to use the AVG Remover - all I get is a "Connection Failed" message.

I've already paid for another product, yet can't use it because AVG is holding me hostage.  Someone PLEASE give me some information I can use, otherwise I may have to purchase a new computer.  This one continues to get virus attacked with and without AVG!!!

AVG is a virus!!! i have tried several programs to try and get it off of my pc!!! itis sad that avg is nothing bot spy ware n dramma. it tells me to contact them then gives a dead end link!!!
