Having bought the upgrade to pro I now find I cannot uninstall the factory-installed version to install Pro as instructed by the email. How can I upgrade my version to Pro?

Why do I get this message when I try to post an ask:

This is why I sent an ask twice. The capcha doesn't seem to work on Ubuntu.
I would refrain but I got no indication that my question had gone through. Add that to the non-working lionks AVG sent me is already making me regret my decision to upgrade in the first place.
