How to wake up a program that Tuneup had me put to sleep

AVG PC tuneup suggested that I put a list of programs to sleep so that they wouldn't startup when the computer booted up.  Now it is driving me crazy because Adobe will not open when I need to download or open a file.  I can not locate that list or find a way to turn Adobe back on.  Anybody have any ideas?  HELP!!!
