How to white list google play music

I followed the Repair instructions as closely as possible as there was no option for Repair - only Change.  I did reinstall all components as well as restarted.  This did not solve the problem.

Hi Adam.
We're here to help. Did you add the exception to all AVG components? If you are not sure, remove the exception you added and follow the steps in this link https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-make-exclusions-from-all-scans-and-shields to add it again. If the issue persists, let us know if it is a free or trial version of AVG you are using. To further narrow down the issue, I'd request to disable each AVG component and verify the issue.

Open AVG, click Menu > Settings > Components. Use On/Off slider against each component to disable or enable them.

I'm using version 18.8 of avg antivirus.  How do you white list the google play music app and/or url to so that you can upload music to your google account?  I have tried adding the URL http://google.play.com* and the path to google play music chrome app to the exceptions list and the uploading is still block by avg.  The only way I can currently upload is to manually turn off avg.

Thank you for the information Adam,
We request you to Repair AVG Antivirus free, reboot your computer once and check the status.

I am using the AVG Free version of the software.  I have added exclusions for the path as well as url and the items will not upload.  I then turned off each component separately and the items would not upload.  The only time the items would upload was if I turn off AVG completely.
