Could you please let us know if you are using the free version of AVG AntiVirus or paid version?
Please provide us the opertating system name and version of your device.
Please let us know which shields are disabled for you, have you installed any other AntiVirus software other than AVG? Generally not recommended to use more than one security solution on a computer as they will compete for resources, which may result in slowdowns, crashes or conflict.
If you wish to keep using the AVG Antivirus Free, we'd recommend uninstalling other security program.
Also alternately, I request you to check if you have updated AVG Security app to the latest version.
It may also help us to diagnose the issue you are experiencing if you can attach a screenshot of the problem.
