Hi James,

We will certainly look into this and help you further.
Please disable AVG Internet Security to confirm if it is blocking the printer connection.
Click the below link to show steps to disable AVG Internet Security.

If the printer connection is working after disabling AVG, then please enable the program again and disable only the FIrewall component to check with the connection.
Follow the below steps to disable AVG Firewall.
Open AVG Internet Security –> click Hacker Attacks –> click the On/Off (green slider) button above "Enhanced Firewall".
