Let's check what has gone wrong.

Please open your AVG Internet Security > Click 'Hackers attacks' > Open 'Ransomeware protection > General (check whether you enabled Smart mode). Then, select 'Blocked/Allowed apps' > check if you see Word documents and Adobe Acrobat in blocked status. If yes, please remove and allow it.

Ref the above topic sent earlier I have had to post a new question with the details you requested see below;
My AVG Version is 19.1.3075 I cannot reply to the email received or find the original post on this message board.
Error is Word cannot complete the save due to a file permission error.
There seems to also be a similar problem as I cannot download pdf's
