I am sorry to hear that the AVG Ultimate keeps reverting to AVG AntiVirus free. Please open the AVG Zen interface and at the top right corner, you can either see your email address or connect option, please click on your email address and select "Leave the Network" and sign in back to your AVG MyAccount. Or if you see "Connect" option, please click on the same and sign in to your AVG MyAccount. After you sign in to your account, please check if the AVG Ultimate gets activated, if you still have any issue, please let me know and I will assist you further.

After installing AVG ULTIMATE the computer has to be restarted. After restart AVG falls back to AVG Free because it  regards the subscription as ended . I bought AVG ultimate on 7 July 2017, and in  MyAccount it shows a validity until 7 July 2018 (last item is the Ultimate). I downloaded the given download in this item, but, whatever I do, it keeps falling back to the free version.

Please check what the reason for this behaviour might be..It does not make sense to pay for a product which cannot be used!
