I have reason to switch the VPN off - i.e. my bank does not accept it and also a government office.
I choose a British VPN location rather than what might be deemed optimum. I didn't always notice when it changed to Israel, it noticed more when a Windows 10 update pinned a weather forecast marker on my taskbar. Mostly sunny in Hebrew shows up!!!
I am staying in North Cyprus at the moment as I decided I am safer here. In my particular location no Covid19 at all!!

I have used AVG VPN for some time and am reasonable happy with it.
In the last few month my chosen location keeps changing to - ISRAEL - and I am not happy with that. I don't like them , I don't like their policies, hacking and more and do not want to be associated with them. But the most stupid thing is , my new change into Hebrew!!! WTF!!!
What can I do???

Since you're currently staying in North Cyprus, Israel is being considered as the optimal location of your AVG Secure VPN (as it's the nearest server with the best connectivity).
We'd recommend that you connect your AVG Secure VPN to the "UK Wonderland/London/Glasgow" server & check for the issue.

Does this occur when you're AVG Secure VPN is connected to the 'Optimal Location'?
