Hello Gary,
I am sorry for the inconvenience caused.
You can share the screenshot of the detection popup here. Just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
Please be informed that the message saying as "File safely locked to Quarantine" is incorrect on AVG popup.
Actually the threat was already deleted by AVG but it is not moved to Quarantine.
We are aware of this issue and developers are working to correct the message that is shown as moved to quarantine.
This will be fixed as soon as possible.
Thank you.

I am getting popup screens indicating that virus files are being blocked and quarantined. When I visit the quarantine area it says there are "No nasty file" in it and shows zero content. I have a screen shot of both the popup warning and the AVG quarantine page indicating that the quarantine area is empty proving my issue. This has happened twice in the past 4 or 5 days…
Gary,
Thank you for providing screenshot. As informed in a previous post, it is a known bug and our developers are working on it.
I assure you that the bug will be fixed as soon as possible and released via update.
I appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.
Thank you.
