I am getting hundreds of files that are all 128.0MB

Mike, the problem you describe looks very similar to a very rare problem that we recently fixed in the upcoming update of AVG 2015. So if you find out that the problem persist, please try the beta version which should be out very soon. Also I would be very interested in your system setup, as you seem to have a really huge number of Windows catalog (.cat) files on your system. Is it a server system of you reinstalled it a couple of times or do you have some uncommon software? Thank you.

Is that build 4765? What Windows version? The only big file in my Chjw folder is 5 MB. I'm sure AVG will request some diagnostic output, meanwhile this might be worth trying:
Control panel > Uninstall a program > AVG > Change > Repair

I uninstalled and re-installed AVG. This freed up more than 800GB.  I was using a paid version.  Upgrading was not necessary.

OK Mike, No probs… Just for your ref… From the link you'll note that it won't actually cost you anything when you eventually decide to upgrade.

They are in this location.  C:\ProgramData\AVG2014\Chjw.  Did they come from you.  I had more than 50 of these just today and my c: is full.
