When I try to access my banking, I get "403 forbidden". If I switch off avg protection, banking loads no problem. I have included the banking details in "exceptions" - and this has just started happening in the last week. It has been fine for years.

Sorry I replied earlier (but I cannot see it here currently) that switching off webshield did not help, but switching off "firewall" did - this is incorrect. You need to switch off AVG completely - right click the AVG icon (it then says Protection is ON). If you switch this off, then you can access the banking webpage.

Let us know the version of AVG you have installed. Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu -> About -> Check its version.

I read through the AVG page you mention above, I went to try the first option and work my way through - and thought I would try the webpage - and it loaded. AVG with everything switched "ON" and I the bank webpage now loads. Was it possibly a problem with the bank webpage for the last 2 days?
