Hello, after removal of old AVGfree and download of 32 bit AVG free. Install failed
Error code: 0xE001F94E
Description: Event exec- finished
Please advise.

My AVG Antivirus Free program no longer allows me to scan. Instead a pop up states: 

Your trial has expired. Buy PRO now to get back your full protection.

I did purchase the AVG PC Tuneup program for the last 3 years. I thought that AVG Free was free, isn't it?

We apologize that the installation of your AVG Free failed. We are sorry to inform you that there is currently an issue when installation of AVG 2016 is failing with error 0xE001F94E. The reason is that the new build of AVG is not offered for all customers but only to fraction of them. There is a bug in AVG Framework, when the framework knows, that there is a new version but old CTF file is downloaded. Unfortunately there is no solution for this right know. It will be fixed once the update will be available for all customers or when the bug of Framework will be fixed. Could you please confirm if your paid product 'AVG PC Tune Up' is working fine? Thank you.

When will AVG free offer me the new update and will they inform me at that time? PC Tuneup is working fine.

Thank you for reponding. When will AVG offer me the new update? Will AVG tell me when I am capable of downloading AVG free?

Laurent,
When you download and run the remover tool, it will check for the installed AVG products and ask you which one would you like to remove. Please select everything else except AVG PC Tuneup. Thank you.
