I cannot enable Enhanced Firewall! I keep getting the message:-
"Your organisation used Windows Defender Application control to block this app."
The app is AVG's VisthAux.exe. Even turning Defender OFF completely it is still getting "blocked by Defender".
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit Insiders Preview is my operating system.
I have the same problem… any fix?
Having exact same issue, just installed AVG Internet Security 2018 w/TuneUp and VPN. It let me toggle the switch over to enable once, and gave me the built in warning about passive mode, so I left it alone for the moment until I could read about it to understand what I was doing. Came back to it, and now I get the big red banner on the main AVG page that says I am not protected, and the Hacker/enhanced firewall is the only one in red (others green). The error message it throws up at is exactly as the OP says, but here is your screenshot…

It seems that Windows Defender got activated and it is blocking AVG Antivirus service.

As an alternate solution, I request you to follow the below instructions. Open run command by pressing windows and R key simultaneously, type services.msc and press enter.
Select Windows defender and stop its service. Then try to reinstall your AVG Internet Security Unlimited as suggested in this article:
