Before I get to that, what about all the files in the quarantine? I started a scan on my computer this afternoon, then left it to do it's job. I know for a fact AVG usually puts some files that I have no problem with into the quarantine and usually I just restore them afterwards.
How can I access my quarantine to put the files back to where I need them? Where is the quarantine folder? Will they still be there if I reinstall?
Hi Bernard,
We regret to hear about the inconvenience caused. It seems you have installed AVG Internet Security - Unlimited trial version which has expired, this is the reason why it shows the message. We are sorry that we cannot check the exceptions and scan data in a expired version. If you do not want to buy the Pro version, please follow the below instructions to uninstall the expired version and install the Free version.
1 Use the link https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe to run the AVG Clear tool.
2 Open the AVG Clear tool, click Yes in the User Account control dialog.
3 Click No in the Windows safe mode dialog.
4 Select the installed version of AVG, click Uninstall, then click Restart computer. (1/2)
I'm in AVG Zen. I click the Antivirus Free button and then it opens a window that says "Your internet security trial has expired". I just want to access my exceptions folder and look at my scan data.
Are you asking me to pay just so I can get those options back?
Please run the AVG Remover tool by using the below instructions.
1 Download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:
