I can't get on most websites because of a "root@localhost" notice. This has happened every time I try to go on my regular, safe sites. I have tries going under the options and adding them and it will not let me. Please help...getting very frustrated

Crys, For info have you 'googled' "root@localhost"?. What AVG product are you usng?..
Have a look @ this new form link (http://support.avg.com/support_contact_form) to get chat/phone support. Otherwise, When available, A member of the official AVG Community Support in Brno, Czech Rep… (Working Hours [Mon-Fri] 9:00am - 5:00pm CET) will see your topic & respond but obviously bear in mind that it's now the weekend.
