I can't get the new AVG Free to install nor uninstall - when attempting to uninstall, I get 0xE00100

Sorry for the inconvenience, I will help you resolve the issue .
Please uninstall the program using  AVG remover tool and then reinstall AVG program .
Download Remover Tool using the link below

When you run AVG remover tool your computer might restart, please follow the email  instructions to reinstall AVG program after computer restart.

Use this link to know whether you are using 32 bit windows or 64 bit windows

After that you can download AVG Anti virus free 32 bit or 64 bit according to your windows version

I attempted to update my AVG Free a week or so ago, but the installation wouldn't complete.  It has also killed the previous version, as well.  I deceided to completely uninstall and try again, but I can't uninstall either and I get the error 0xE001003D when attempting to uninstall.  I'm completely unprotected now, and am quite eager to resolve this - help!
